Things I've Learned or Discovered

From Life...

Imagine what your future self will have wished you had done in the past, then do that now.
When confronted with an opportunity, pursue it now. You may be too busy tomorrow, and it also may just disappear.
The infants of today will be the masters of tomorrow in every field. You already have a head start of several decades of knowledge and experience, so just pick your field and master it!
"And, not Or" - In other words, if you find yourself trying to decide between one option and another, consider how both may be implemented together.
Visualize the negative from the context of the beauty that is also around you rather than letting the upsets in life tarnish your vision of that which is beautiful.
When in doubt, imagine how the person you'd like to become would be. Be that way and become the person you had only imagined.
If it says "Made in China", save the receipt!!
Beware of the reality portrayed by salesmen, politicians and sycophants.
When you find something you've misplaced, store it in the first place you had looked.
You will always find something in the last place you look.

Sayings of my son Ethan...

You can lead a man to reason, but you can't make him think!

From Fortune Cookies...

There is always a path, even at the end of the road.
It is true - the early bird catches the worm, but it is also true that the early worm is eaten by the bird.
